Hi Friends! So looking back over this year, I’m pretty amazed that I not only got my first book, Haunted Hearts published, but my second book as well. When The Music Dies is out now and available for purchase from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and more. It was a lot of work, a lot of writing, and a lot of nervousness about how readers would like my style of story telling. To be honest, it’s my love of writing that keeps me doing it at this point. Fans are hard to come by when you’re just getting started, but I’m in the flow now and the ideas keep on coming!
In fact, I’m working on my third book now! It Is Well With My Soul is not a sequel or in any way related to my first two books. It is a story I’ve been dying to write for some time, and I can’t wait to share it with you. It takes place in a haunted abandoned amusement park that is very much like a park here where I live in South Jersey. (Only ours isn’t haunted or spooky at all!) But this story is very close to my heart, and though I won’t say exactly why, I will say that it is my dearest wish in a story form. I can’t give you a date yet, but I will let you know when I get close, but you can check out the cover on my home page now!
In addition, I’m working on some ideas for a trilogy! Anyone like haunted dolls? I do!!! And I’m working on some plans for a set of three haunted bride dolls for the coming year. Their characters are already showing up for me and I’ve got a notebook going for all the ideas as they come to me. Why is it I feel like the stories I write are already written and they just get revealed to me a little piece at a time? Sometimes it feels more like channeling than writing. The story reveals itself to me. I just hold the pen.
Anyway, I wish you all a wonderful, SAFE, and happy New Year, and I’ll be seeing you soon!
Love, Emma
